These a great photos. You are so lucky to get great shots of the animals while they are awake. I went to the same zoo a couple of months ago and nearly all of the animals were asleep, which is just as well because I forgot to take my camera-I know, how could I be so silly to miss a golden opportunity to snap away. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Angela - agree he is hard to catch them - fortunately my grandson just loves the zoo and each time we visit we spend many hours there. Flying back to Auckland on the 1st Aug, from Wellington, taking two other grandchildren, to see the Cirque du Soleil: Dralion circus and hopefully, weather permitting, we will get another chance to get to the zoo and more fotos. Watch this space. Cheers, Bernz

Bernz, I love your work especially what you do with the framing. Your exposures are always spot on and your composition is great. I am scheduling a trip to the Ft. Worth zoo in a couple of weeks to see if I can get shots as nice as yours.

Hi HeaterGuy - well good luck then - hopefully animals are not asleep - I found going early is the best time. Look forward to seeing what you capture. Cheers, Bernz
