Thank you!
The second one is also my favorite. Downtown Atlanta has a lot of very interesting buildings

Excellent shots! I've lived in the Atlanta area all my life. Your second shot is the top of 191 Peachtree Street, which I've always considered as one of the most interesting buildings in Atlanta. I'd guess you might have taken these from the Westin Peachtree Plaza, also known as John Portman's phallic symbol because of its shape (Portman is a local architect that designed most of the buildings in Peachtree Center).

Have you ever been to The Varsity, the world's largest drive-in? It's not far from where you took your pictures. It's across the downtown connector from Grant Field (located on the GA Tech campus) which is the football field on the left hand side of your third picture. If you come again, you'll have to give it a try, just for the sake of being able to say you've had the experience.

Enjoyed your shots!

Yeah, you know your town! You are right, these were taken from the Peach Street buildings.

I travel to Atlanta once a year for a job related conference, but I fly in and I don't rent a car while I am there, so it would be hard for me to go to the drive-in w/o the car.
Thanks for the tips though

No problem! You can walk in! Have lunch with a thousand people! It was started by a fellow who went to Ga Tech but dropped out and made his fortune with the varsity.

The Varsity :: What'll ya have!

Great series...been to Atlanta many times and these capture it very well. On your 2nd shot you almost can't tell that it is the top a building
