I'm in dire need of a macro lens, but I think this turned out ok despite.

That's very cool. I don't think lack of a macro lens help you back a bit with this shot. Great detail and contrast.

This is really nice Jess! I enjoy doing this type of shot and you have really captured a beautiful almost surreal Galaxy of water worlds.
