Default Walking my dog

Typically, I walk my dog, Deshe (hebrew for grass) when I come back from work. Usually I keep an eye for interesting birds and then I return to the spots of interest with my camera. A couple of days ago I decided to take the camera, walk her and see what happens.
On the first day Deshe was spotted by a lurking cat. The cat was so concentrated trying not to be found by her that it did not mind my presence at all.

Lurking cat

Camera: Canon PowerShot SX100 IS
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/4.3
Focal Length: 60 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

On the second day we spotted a couple of small shy lizards (Harduns). I guess they are not fond of dogs because they didn't stay there for a second shot.

Harduns

Camera: Canon PowerShot SX100 IS
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1600)
Aperture: f/4.3
Focal Length: 60 mm
Exposure: 0.00
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0 EV

On our way back home Deshe ran away and dissapeared for about 10 min. I kept calling her, when suddenly, out of thin air, she rushed back home all wet and dirty. She knew she was doing something wrong. I was a bit upset at her but it all went away when I managed to take this picture.

Returning dog

Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1600)
Aperture: f/6.3
Focal Length: 28.1 mm
ISO Speed: 100

Clever shots, all! I like how the cat is peering out behind the leaves, the lizard has a curious eye out for you and then the final shot of Deshe just being a dog is a hoot! I'm glad I got to go along!

Really nice shots. Dogs can get in trouble no doubt about it. I really like that lizard shot.

great set Flav ! .. love the storyline , the cat looks dangerous, like a cornered big cat LOL
cool textures and patterns in the lizard shot.

Looks like you have a really great dog, mine has pulled a few stunts himself lol

thanks for showing them

Vin

Thanks Vin,
I'm so happy you got the idea!
Although the kitty is a domesticated Kitty-kitty it still "gave me the look". There is something instinctive and primeval about that first shot, that I liked.
The lizards are really a good excuse for the shapes - colors - light and shadow - etc, of the exposed unfinished wall. The third is an action picture where I was able - for the first time- to freeze the dog in the air whe she comes back home.

Better keep that camera with you...you never know when life just might happen. Love that shot of Deshe....can have several interpretive meanings given the storyline....I see that cat is not looking right down your lens but has something else very much on its mind...great set of shots flavio
