Default Shovel Sledding in July yeeehaaw!

at first it appears that these boys are just sliding down a patch of what's left of a mountain snow cap without sleds,

but then out from beneath one of them comes a shovel,
_IGP7327

so now its freestyle sledding as you can see by the bottom of the on looker above,
_IGP7329

then their back on their feet and heading back to the top for more.

Well that's a new one for me. Shovel Sledding. Could be a future Olympic sport lol.. Great captures of what looks like great fun. Oh to be young again. Thanks for sharing the fun Up North.

Dave.

yep never seen shovel sledding but a snow shovel would be better......I don't have a big butt but mine won't fit on a pointy tipped shovel like that! Looks like fun though.....almost like spring skiing with short sleeves!

Thanks Patrick, i wouldn't fit either. I'm guessing they used that type of shovel because it was handy. Looked like fun though.
