Default Blackbird showing his true colors

I am fasinated with black birds and capturing the iridescent sheen thier feathers throw off in the sunlight .. I can see with my eyes, but I find it quite the challange to photograph.. I tried to balance the black and the sunlight in this shot and I ended up with the actual color which is really dark brown ( which I don't think our eyes see ) kinda interesting

just another one of the things I like to experiment and learn with.

thanks for viewing

Vin

I have seen that color flash in the sun but the angle to be just so so like a car with a good reflective paint job will reflect the sun best at a certain angles while appearing flat in detail in other angles

Hi Vin, great shot you really caught this one as the eye would see it, I know what you mean I have taken loads of shots and when you get them on the pc they are nothing like what you saw in the first place. Great job.

Well done Vin! I love seeing this from a different angle, it really shows off those subtle colors.

gorgeous hot vin lovely detail in the colour.... in fact there is no actual such colour in hair feathers etc etc as black just dark browns blues etc etc so you did well to capture this in such clarity
