My youngest daughter, Alyssa, and I went on a Weekend Photo Walk around southern Columbus County, NC this past weekend. Here are four shots from a patch of sunflowers we ran across. I hope to post more soon. ENJOY!

Charlie, these are beautiful...and some of my favorite flowers. I think it's amazing how you got the bugs on them too...like they were posed there. The colors are gorgeous...all in all a lovely series of shots. Sunflowers always bring a smile to my face, so thank you.

WOW! Thanks for the wonderful compliments folks. You're making me blush!
I love sunflowers, too. They are probably my favorite flower to photograph. They have so much intricate detail... and the vivid colors are amazing. BTW, I have been shooting exclusively with the Canon for approx. a month now. These are my first really good (IMO) macro flower shots taken with the Canon.

All 4 of them are beautiful. Nice compositions in all and very nice perspective on the last one. And how did you get the yellow bettle on the yellow flower - very cool!
