Thanks Vin, you are right. Every now and then we have to do something that is not cheery and pretty!
I am doing better today, not nearly as sore as I was yesterday. Thank You for asking !

It's a sad statement that due to the evil in man, there has been one of these since the beginning of mankind. One day, this too will pass. Let's remember those veterans who've paid the ultimate price and let's not forget to express thanks to those who've served to preserve our freedom.

Truley this picture tells a thousand words.
No, a thousand stories.
The story of a long lost soldier, who fought for his country.
The story of his colleauges, who fought alongside him.
The story of his family, mourning the loss of their brethern.
The story of passersbys, like yourself who take the time to reflect upon this unkown soldier.
Great picture.

Great Capture Sue! Civil War era! We have a National monument to the Unknown Soldier, You've found another one. Perhaps with less notoriety, but no less important!
Thanks for Sharing this
Michael.

A man called Veteran, someone who sacraficed much and left with only a title and a date. Your photo honors him. Very touching!
