Default Beautiful Storm

So I was kept up last night by crazy thunder and lightning!!! It was intense!!! Once I got my lil guy to sleep I ventured onto my porch and made an attempt to take photographs of it... although I didn't succeed to the degree I wanted (I was in a bad spot to start, without a tripod and was only brave enough to get off my porch once to get a 'better' angle lol) - I did manage to get a few nice shots... Pure fluke I think... Here they are

Thanks for looking

The first is nice. We had a storm hit Saturday night at 2:00 I was too tired to go out and take some images.

Thank you The storm energized me to the point where taking pictures was the only thing I COULD do lol It was either that or lay awake in bed listening/watching my room flash lol That and we have thunder storms so rarely that I had to snatch up the opportunity.

LOL Yeah, I ran very quickly to the road, snapped a bunch as quickly as possible with the fear I was gonna get struck or witness some insane lightning-hit-a-house event or something equally as astonishing (yeah, right! lol... right?). Even on my porch I was a lil spooked, but I felt safer up there than I did on the street lol

Thank you - I was shocked I caught even that much actual lightning. Now I kick myself saying "If I'd only had the camera up a bit more!!!" lol The blue in that one is so neat Thank you again teehee
