Default Flower (Purple Trumpet) Macros

These are shots of the same purple trumpet flowers that Chewy's Dad posted here in the 3rd photo.

The three shots below are all of the same flower. The flash power and position, and position of the flower, changed from shot to shot. Still amazes me how a simple change or 2 can make such a dramatic change in a photo.

To me, they each look like a secret passage.

Secret Passage 2

Secret Passage 1

Secret Passage 3

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful Macros Chip! The 3rd one has such a feeling of Depth, looks like a Bee's I View into the Trumpets throat!
Thanks for Sharing these
Michael.

They have the feel of a portal to another world, with a beckoning light. The impact of the color is amazing. I feel like I've been hit in my solor plexus. These are s-o-o-o-o good--Chet Baker's Trumpet, good.

Michael - Thank you. The bee's perspective idea fits perfectly. Thanks for that image.

Lindy - I trust you've recuperated fully by now? Thanks so much for the comments - I've always been drawn by the colors in these flowers.
