Default another butterfly

I took this from several feet away through a fence, but I think it turned out okay. At first I thought it was speckled from noise, but then I realized those speckles are on the butterfly. Its not super- sharp, but I like it anyway.

Yep . . . just another unique, cool butterfly, that happens to be upside down and in tack sharp focus. Ho hum.

Just kidding, of course. I really like this shot. It's well done and different. Very nice.

i had no idea so i looked it up, and you are right. apparently it is a male because there is so little blue.
I actually have a bit of a butterfly phobia ~ if they get near me I freak out, thats why i tried to take the picture from so far away. seeing all the detail of its body has not helped my phobia any, but I think the wings are pretty!
