The Quackers just were not cooperating with your were they, but you got the shot anyway ha! Well done. I really like the DOF comparison in the 2nd and 3rd shots, I want to try some of this with a tripod and then try stacking them in Photo Shop.

Great job Ian. I like the way you use the leaves and branches to add depth to the shots. Great work buddy.

That color of leaf in the foreground of your last photo is my favorite leaf color. They are not the yellowy color of spring as they have deepened a little and now have a slight blue cast. Those. I just love those!

Thx Michael, I was lucky to have a tree to lean into for the 2 of the weir .. all I have is one of those little gorrilla flexible stands .. not to many situations where it works .. watching the sales ..

Thx Dave, I got to play a bit, focused on one area and panned over to where I wanted the composition .. it was fun to try something out

Thx Linda, I stopped as there was a long weir behind this but access was via railtracks with a BIG no trespassing sign, right beside a main road .. too bad but lucky me this little side run and pool was right in the way!
