Smile Flowers

Hi all

Im fairly new to this site so thought Id start here instead of going for the critiques!

The photos here were taken in my mothers garden, and I thought the flowers them selves (not the photos) were stunning.

They were taken using a Nikon D40.

Nice captures.

And I have never seen anything like those flowers in the second picture. What kind of flower is that?

Don't be afraid of the critique forum. Everyone that posts there is very encouraging and offers constructive criticism. I know I have benefited from posting some of my work there.

And, of course, welcome to DPS.

The last flower (yellow one) is a snap dragon, latin name is Antirhinums.
I dont know what the middle flower is, and neither does my mum, she was given them free!
the red one is a begonia

Maybe once Ive gained a bit of confidence Ill post in the critique section!
