Default And Now For Something Completely Different...

Bee-Confused: This bee was looking for flowers but these were closed, so he stopped in the air for a second without knowing what to do next.

Confused bee

Camera: Canon PowerShot SX100 IS
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1600)
Aperture: f/3.5
Focal Length: 14.4 mm
Exposure: +0.29
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0 EV

Cliffhanger bee

Camera: Canon PowerShot SX100 IS
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1600)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 6 mm
Exposure: +0.48
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0 EV

Bee-as it should be:

bee-ware B

Aperture: f/3.5
Focal Length: 12.8 mm

Holy moly....I can't believe that third shot....AMAZING. I have to keep going back to it...but they are all fantastic.

Wow Flavio.....you must have shot quite a few to extract these out. All of these are really good. I have some decent ones but not quite this good when they are in flight. Great job!

Wow, it must be hard training them to pose like that for you.

Seriously though... these are some really amazing shots. I'd have never thought a picture of a bee in flight could be so sharp. Very impressive captures.
