Default Further down the road

This is what I was hoping to find on my little journey, a wattle tree in flower. They usually flower late winter early spring and the country turns yellow and smells divine. This little tree was in a warm spot so it flowered early.

This picture really needs to be viewed in large format on flickr to see the detail.

Wattle-3

Michelle, what a great find. These pictures are lovely. Its a nice yellow in all the pictures. The 2nd picture really stands out for the perspective and composition. And what a wonderful moment you have captured in #4. Nicely done.

Great shots and you are right number one is fantastic in a larger size. I have got to find a project there so I can charge someone else for a visit.

Michele, more from home! Thank you. That tree looks gorgeous! Your last one cracked me up. So cute. I love the detail in the 2nd one and your sky looks so blue and beautiful! We always have smog. We live in a bowl so our sky is never that crystal clear blue. Really pretty set and you are right must be viewed large to really appreciate!

Thankyou FDCPR, I think you have the right idea, find a short term job in a country you would like to visit so you can spend some time getting to know the people, not just doing the touristy thing. Hope you enjoyed your studies.

Thankyou Michelle, one of the benefits of living "nowhere". Winter is the best time of year here the weather is beautiful, freezing cold nights and lovely warm days. The skies are Crystal both day and night. If you ever get a chance to travel over here, if you want to see inland Australia just make sure it's not during summer.

Nice set Michele, I see you have taken yout model out with you again. The colour in all of them is fantastic and the detail is out of this world. The little chap looks like he is having a good time anyway. Thanks for sharing.

Michelle these are gorgeous photographs. I love the colour of your Wattle Tree and the contrast with that lovely deep blue sky is divine. I agree, best viewed large and see the amazing detail. Awwww, Michelle, you have a cute little critic, couldn't you just cuddle him.

Dave.

These are Beautiful Michele! I assume that's your Grandson and the last two are precious!
I'm glad he has you to teach him about Nature and expose him to the beauty around him!
I really like the perspective on the second shot as well!
Thanks for Sharing these
Michael.
