Thank you all! This is a great reception for the first time sharing my shot outside of an assignment.

Personally, I like the first one (the contrasting colors) and the last/third one (the green smoke is very cool).

Great job! What was your EXIF for them? I am interested in comparing it to my own fireworks shots. It was my first time photographing them...

Here's my EXIF data:
Camera: Canon PowerShot SD850 IS
Exposure: 2
Aperture: f/10.0
Focal Length: 10 mm
ISO Speed: 80
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

So yes, I did take it with a point-and-shoot, seeing as it's the only digital camera I own. Also, 10 mm with crop factor taken into consideration is the equivalent of 60 mm on a 35 mm camera.

I'd love to see some of your pictures and their EXIF data to compare, seeing as it was my first time, too!
