Default More alaskan wildlife
This moose is not quite as sharp as I would have liked it to be. I was still figuring out what I could do with the rented 100-400mm. By the end of the trip I was shooting at higher shutter speeds, but we saw no more moose!

So that's what a moose looks like!! We went up to Algonquin Park to see them a few weeks back ...and couldn't find one. In fact the only wildlife we saw onthe whole trip was a whole load of mosquitos .. and I draw the line at photographing them while they're feasting on me! Love these shots - just what I was hoping to capture but didn't!

Nice work, beautiful imagery. My daughter lives in Alaska. She in a native Kansan. She likes to say "Kansas holds my heart, but Alaska takes my breath away." She's a singer/songwriter, if you couldn't tell.
