Default Lindy, here's some cacti/succulent and blooms East Coast style!

It was raining today and so I never left the store (Lowe's) but instead hauled out my camera to our garden center. It's been a while since I have ventured out there with the camera. Obviously I stayed under the canopy while it was raining and ventured out in between showers. I noticed a small rack of cacti/succulents and of course was reminded of the great saguaros of Arizona except that these were the great pygmies that would rest nicely on your window sill. They could all fit in the palm of your hand. I noticed one cactus was about to bloom and then I noticed some type of plant that is part of the cacti family that had this beautiful strand of blooms (last two shots) Lindy, after all of the education you have given me, I hope that this will be a special treat...like a student giving his teacher an apple!

Oh My! Just look at them! They are all beautiful. I love the way the buds of the fuchsia colored bloom nestles together, the barrel cactus looks like it is blooming stars and the last two are just beautiful in coral and yellow. You are becoming quite the macro artist, Patrick! Sometimes, especially with cactus, you have to get close enough and be willing to see them through fresh eyes to see their beauty. Mission accomplished! I'm sending you a virtual hug!

Wowwww Patrick, I think these are some of your best ever mate. They are outstanding. I think we all learnt a lot from Lindys classes but with these mate, I think you will go top of the class. They are all brilliant but the last one is superb.
You have excelled my friend.

They're beautiful pj, love the way the first shot just disappears into colour, the blooms in the third are just so pretty, and I love the contrast of the colours in the last.

Patrick, this set IMO is one of your most beautiful. I really love the colors on the last two picture. And nice capture of the 2nd image.
