Here are a couple of pictures I took today at the Philadelphia Zoo. The kids loved it, and I must say that I have never seen so many dSLRs in the same place. Of course, it could just be that I am looking for them now.
I think its also a pretty good place to learn how to become a better photographer. Here's a blue and gold Macaw ![]() A blue-breasted kingfisher ![]() and a golden breasted starling.

That's what my wife said after looking at his eye. Either he's really interested in something, or some of the keepers have been smoking it up in the back room.

I agree w/ everyone, all 3 are great, the color of the 1st is amazing, but the third bird reminds me of my facial expression when I had an extra espresso! Great set of shots!
