Shot this for my Strobist Boot Camp II assignment. Couldn't wait to finish the shoot and have lunch.
BTW, I used a reflector camera right to capture light from an opposing window. Also used a Canon 580EX II with a snoot set at 1/8th power set up behind and camera left.

YUMMMY! It's funny, cause I actually made these for lunch today, but mine did not look near as good as this one! Great shot there!

It is a good thing I had lunch, cause I can practically smell the chili and onions. Very nicely done, RS. Every little detail is so sharp. And...it looks like a Still Life!

It isn't a real chili dog without onions. I had to have the onions.
After taking the shots, I noticed a reflection in front. To do it over again I'd move the chili dog back a bit more to catch more of the reflection. And, yeah, a chili dog is a matter of taste. They taste sssooooooo good to me. What I enjoyed about doing this (besides lunch later) was that the set up was very simple, as I explained above. And the lighting turned out just as I hoped. It was my first time using a snoot and it did just what it was supposed to do -- focus the light right where I wanted it.

personally, i like my dogs NY-style, with brown mustard and sauerkraut. But this photo is wonderful! Good enough to eat!

Make my bed out of Wonder Bread, spread some mustard upon my head.
I don't want no onions or sauerkraut, mamma, hold on to the bun baby, work it on out. I'm a chilidog. I guess you guessed by now, babe. Sure enough, I'm a chilidog mama, look at me, delicious. James Taylor!!!! I do love a good Chili Dog!!! Well composed and presented! Thanks for Sharing this Michael

LOL. Breakfast food!?! Not in my neck of the woods.
Gotta have onions and cheese. Sauerkraut is for bratwurst.
