I just came from there, but didn't manage to get a sunrise or a sunset...will be there again in August for another try. Beautiful shot.

Wrong. This is not a photograph of the Grand Canyon at sunrise. This the Quintessential Grand-Canyon-at-Sunrise photo. I live in Arizona and I've never seen a finer photo of the Grand Canyon. Wow!

Welcome to DPS! This is a beautiful capture. I believe I've stood almost exactly where your wee standing when you took this picture, but not at Sunrise. Your photo shows the Grandure of the the Canyon and the Promise of the new day!

Absolutely gorgeous. I visited there (my sister lived close by at the time) a few years ago and was always happy with my shots. Until now. This is magnificent. Beautiful lighting. Wow!
