Default My (4-legged) Girl

This is our 5-year old girl, named "Maisy." It was taken in our back yard after some good exercise earlier today.

Maisy (July 11, 2009)

Thanks for looking.

She has kind eyes, like her Master! You were going to eventually mention that photo eventually, right?

Default lucky dog

I tried to get some shots of my sister's dog as a surprise yesterday (we're watching it while she's on vacay) and the darn thing would not look at me...so I only got a bunch of lovely profile shots This is very nice and exactly what I was going for!

Thanks so much, peeper. My camera tends to overexpose, so getting detail in the blacks isn't all that hard. Whites, on the other hand . . . .

What? Oh, that photo?! I was gonna disclose it soon. Really. I was . . . as soon as I improve on that type of thing.

Sorry you had a hard time with your sister's dog. For our dog, I've learned that the chances of getting a decent photo increase dramatically when she's physically worn out. And, I need to compose the shot, have my finger on the shutter button, and they say something that I know will provoke a reaction. It's taken a few years, and I'm just now getting the hang of it. It pays to be persistent.
