Default Seagull Fight

Hello everyone. I went to a small marina which is the northern end of the lancaster canal which I have shown pictures of before. My intention was to take some boat pics, but these guys dedided to have a fight and took all my attention. lol I was pleased with this one.
I thought that I would share my Swallow photo too. These guys flew the nest the next day. I think they were getting too big for the nest. Oh and Michelles "Turbo Duck" wanted to play too.
Thanks for looking.

Seagull Fight

Time to leave home boys

Great Captures Dave! I love the Sea gulls, two different varieties, could be 3 but the one looks like it lost the fight and got wet! L.o.l
I have seen swallows for a long time, I used to live in SanDiego Calif. and we always used to drive up to San Jaun Capistrano to see the return of the Swallows to the mission there. It was alway quite an event.
Thanks for Sharing these
Michael

I bet you didn't know turbo duck was there until after you took that picture, he must have flown north for the Winter, faster than a speeding bullet. Great photos Jake.

Hi Dave .. that 1st image is stunning - especially with the shoreline at the top third .. together with the frame you choose -- it just adds dynamic to the overall photo .. turbo duck uh? .. cute

I just looked at your first image in its original size on Flickr. I just love the place in the photo where the wings, feathers and light converge. It's a mini-picture within a picture. I also like your swallow shot. I just noticed they wear a brown necklace and I'll bet Mom Nature put it there just because its pretty! Nice shots, Dave.
