Default A little bit of Australia

These are the hardest flowers to take a decent photo of. I think they look like little firework explosions.

Michele these are beautiful. The lighting the colors and the subject are all spot on What an unusual and wonderful flower you have captured perfectly here. The frame is a very attractive addition. What is this plant called?

Wow Michelle these are gorgeous flowers and if they are so hard to photograph it certainly doesn't show. Lovely detail too. The composition of both of these is excellent and the frames enhance the lovely photographs. Very nice work and wonderful presentation.

Dave.

Thanks tycooder, this is an Australian Mallee Tree, a Eucalyptus variety, the flowers are only small but prolific and seems to flower for most of year.

Thanks Richie, don't wait until spring, I'm surprised how many flowers are out there at the moment.

Yes flavio they are a Eucalyptus, and white or yellow are the most common colours, however there are quite a few different varieties and some beautiful colours, and all difficult to photograph.
