Default A walk in godmanchester part 1

I had an hour or two to myself today so i had a wander around a little village called godmanchester, which is a neighbour to my town of huntingdon, it has a nice set of waterways and greenery as well as a family of swans, sygnets and waterfoul. i nearly filled my 8 Gig memory card on this walk so here is what ive edited so far. the rest to come later....

I found this Scottish Thistle beside a weir and thought it was stunning..... CLICK

This intersting looking stump made a nice focal point on the main green..... CLICK

heres the mono version

Finally, the main attraction, heres the tourist information center shot..... CLICK

I leave for the sunny beaches of skegness tomorrow for a week so i wont be posting for a while, so the second part of this set will be posted when ive finished editing them when i get back next week.

Nice place, Godmanchester! I've camped there, that A14 just doesn't stop though does it?

Nice pictures (in both sets)!

Have a good holiday in sunny Skeggy!
