Default Australian Sea Lions

We took the boat out to Rottnest Island off Perth WA the other day to the Sea Lion Colony.
These guys are super hard to photograph they move through the water at unbelievable speed and trying to swing a big underwater camera rig with them is almost impossible.

I was trying to show of this speed and grace in the images.

Great series. It is hard enough to get good images on land and you nailed it underwater.

Magical, must be fantastic swimming with them. I'm just as impressed with the underwater photography. When I used to live on the coast we went skindiving all the time out on the reef, I would love to give underwater photography a go.
