Default Ship Harbour, Newfoundland

I was visiting my in-laws a couple of months ago and there's really nothing to do out there. It's the middle of nowhere literally but if you love nature, it's heaven. There's some cool rock formations on the beaches and I thought that's all i'd see but I'm glad I had my camera because nobody would have believed the new friend I made. I got so close to it, it was surreal. Mind you I almost killed myself walking on rocks covered by this stuff that looked like grapes. It didn't mind me being there one bit. I must have been there for a good hour taking all the pictures I could. As the tide came in, it just moved closer to shore to new rocks to get out of the water and get some sun. Definitely one of the top 10 amazing moments in my life

How fortunate that you were able to be there and get this close. Not an everyday occurrence. What lovely photographs and I'm certain they will be treasured for years.
