Default Raindrops Drops

This was taken during the rain, but from under the roof of my condo. When it rains for a long period of time, the sidewalk starts to flood, resulting in this.
Blue Drops

Living in Florida in the summer time means a lot of rain. I got sick of waiting inside for a nice sunny day, so I took an umbrella and went out in the rain and snapped some shots.

I love love the second photo! It's such a strong image, those few flowers standing strongly in the rain. It really is a powerful picture, in my opinion.

Thanks Gina.

Rick, those pictures were shot at 1/800th of a second and 1/1000th. For me personally, I use a fast shutter speed to capture the "explosion" of the rain drop hitting the bodies of water.

The focus part was a guess and check. A lot of my shots were out of focus; you just have to practice. But I guess it also helps if you have AF, which I don't.
