Default Alluring Death

Alluring Death

The face of certain death...Pit vipers in the dense sunderbans, the world's largest mangrove forest. One bite...and its good bye. Shot standing using manual focus on a rolling boat underneath it the full body can be found here!

He has such a long body for such a skinny looking snake, Great capture, I'll leave all the snake pictures to you.

Indeed an excellent capture. One that could easily be found in the pages of National Geographics. Thanks for allowing us to take a look at the viper from the safety of our computers.

@fStopMike: Thank you It was a little daunting, i must confess.
@paulq: Thank you. Glad that you like it.
@Flavio: Much honored. The pleasure is all mine. Thank you for your comments.
@Harsh Kataruka:Yes, it was so well hidden that the first time we passed underneath it, we could not spot it. Lucky the boatman had sharper eyes! Glad that you like it.
