Default Photos of the Madonna Inn - the land of gaud...

My g/f is a bit of a lover of gaud much to my dismay so of course on our vacation during the 4th of July weekend it was a requirement to visit the Madonna Inn. The Madonna Inn is a caste away to the 1970's, where every room is decorated differently, the sugar is pink, you stir your tea with a rock sugar, the cakes are pink, there are roses and angels everywhere, and the urinals are waterfalls. It is like visiting your grandmother's house, but 100 times bigger.

I of course tried to make the best of it and take tasteful shots...

Even the napkins are pink:

Nice shots. The third ties it all in. Is this what the Eagles song is about? "Hotel California"?

Interesting shots and well done....perhaps a preview of what your house would look like should you marry her? Give her the upstairs and make your man cave in the basement!

Very nice images Zomie. You're gonna need that man cave after a visit there. I have driven by there a lot of times and have never even stopped. Now I kinda know what it looks like inside.
