Default Beroflex moon

Here is a shot of the Monn taken from my Balcony using my Nikon D80 and an old Beroflex 500/8

That's a lovely shot - isn't it interesting that when the moon is partly in shadow the craters really stand out, but when its full it looks "flat". Lots of moon photos in the forum at the moment I notice (including mine) and I think this is my favourite

It's nice and sharp. I agree about the partial shadows, too.

thanks guys.

No no new lens, it first came on the market some time in the 80's I think. You can pick one up for 50 euros. For that price it is not bad.

It is no good for any moving object there just doesn't get enough light though to the camera, but still good to play around with. You have work everything in manuel mode, no AF or anything.
