Default Newbie - Some shots I took in Peru.

Hello all. Here are some shots I took on our Mission Trip to Peru. I don't know much of what I'm doing. But, trying to learn. So, here it goes.

It looks to me like you know what you are doing. In my opinion, all of those photos are very well done. I think the composition in them has taken them up a notch from good to very good and very interesting. I love them.

Really nice photos. I don't see much I would comment upon except in the first shot to eliminate a little more of the right side showing the shirts. My opionion of course.

Very nice. I really like the reflection inside the sunken boat in the first one. Keep up the good work.

Looks like you know what you are doing. These are great shots. I love the one of the little girl with the umbrella. But all of them have great composition and really say a lot about how the people live in that area. Thanks for sharing your trip.

Welcome Helldozer - very nice shots. I would guess you were in Iquitos - I remember my trip there fondly and your pictures brought good memories back. Thanks for sharing them!

the second one is my personal favorite -- truly evocative image; thank you for posting them.

Thank you for the feedback, it is much appreciated. I really feel that I just got lucky with those shots. My biggest issue is keeping things focused. They look great on the tiny screen, but, soon as i upload them...blurry edges. Blah.

mseigafuse, yes, we were in Iquitos and some of the out lying villages. You come back from a place like that and you think, haha, wow, our poor....don't know what poor is.

Thanks All.

Welcome to DPS. All are fantastic shots, well done. One of the many things I enjoy about DPS is that you get to travel around the world just by sitting in front of your computer. You have shown me great sights of Peru and the way the people live, thank you.
