Default Crashing Waves perfect timing

I was doing a maternity shoot at the La Jolla cove and the tide was just starting to break. This was a spurt of the moment shot for I have never really shot at the beach before.

Next time I am going to angle my SB600 at an up angle to make the colors and the people really pop. The waves were crashing so high they were blocking out the light, but made for a more cozy photo.

Love the splash in the shot.. Do you need the black bottom in the shot.. I think it kind of doesn't match up with the bright splash.. hmm..

good point. I just held my hand to the screen and noticed a crop might help bring the splash out. thanks!
