Default Lifeguard

I recently took this one while on vacation at the shore. One of the best shots I took in my opinion. I'm not sure what I like about the composition, but I think its the vibrant red umbrella.

I like the picture because it's well composed, bright and cheerful, good focus, shapes and colours and reminds of warm days on the beach,

and the red umbrella

well done TAGfan

It is an interesting composition and the red umbrella certainly dominates the shot. Nice shot overall. It makes me miss the shore even more than I do. Is it Atlantic City or perhaps Wildwood?

Impressive heaterguy!

It is indeed Wildwood. North Wildwood to be exact. The lifeguards had just finished moving their perch back from the water as the tide was coming in.
