Default Let's call him Shellbert

I went outside yesterday to get the mail and saw this turtle crossing the road. My road has a fair amount of traffic in the afternoon so I was concerned the he was going to get hit. I stood out there in the middle of the road to slow down the cars while he made his journey. After that I went and grabbed a bin and brought him home to show the wife and kids. I later brought him to the swamp area behind my house and released him. My youngest named him Shellbert.

Shelbert is a handsome looking devil. I hope he'll hang out in the swampy area and give you a chance for some more shots in his natural habitat.
