Ok, these weren't Photoshopped, but I did use a polarizing filter. Had been driving past this patch of sunflowers for a couple weeks and I finally made a plan to stop.
Which do you like better and why? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for looking!

third one, I like the way the flowers are grouped at an angle. also the blue on the other pictures are just too blue... and finding the spots on the petals distracting

4 Great shots, I like #2, I like the perspective and I like the bees. #3 is very appealing as well, I like the perspective and the lighter background. I try to clone out distractions like the spots mentioned above when I present captures like these.
Thanks for sharing these Michael.

Geee...do I really have to choose? I like them all. I like the second one the best because of the different perspective. Personally, I don't mind the spots on the flowers, because that's part of nature, but for something to be displayed on the wall, it would probably be better without them

So glad you made a plan to stop. These are beautiful!!
My faves are #1 and #3...the first one because the sunflower looks like a rising sun and the color of the sky is just perfect with a slight gradient. The yellow flower against that shade of blue is my absolute favorite! The third one for similar reasons as far as the color of the sky goes and the slight gradient. I like the diagonal line the flowers make across the image as well. The sunflowers seem to be waving to their audience. That first one though? I'd print that out on canvas about 20x30 and hang it above my couch. I love it!

Those are all gorgeous! I love them all but the last one catches my eye the most. Not sure why, it just does.

I can't tell you folks how much I appreciate your feedback. It is one thing to say, "nice shot," or "good job," but I really value the comments that you guys have made here that go more into the "whys" of your likes or dislikes.
I never would have thought that the spots on the flower are distracting, but I am glad it was mentioned because I just may clone them out before printing a large copy for the wall. Really, thanks so much for your helpful comments!
