Lightbulb Writing Light Trails!

Was in callendar park(a favourite of mines for photos) a few nights ago and we started using the long exposures and the light on my phone to make shapes and letters. I highly recommend it. Its loads of fun!!

It is really fun! I love the smiley face with the eye twinkle!

I did it with a pair of gloves I attacked glow sticks to for a 3D Concepts project in college. We had to make something that attached to our body and made marks. This was my favorite!

Arrow Colours

love the glove idea. yeah i'm going to buy glow sticks and make different coloured ones as well. We spent ages playing about and its a really quick concept to learn. All these shots even though the have long exposures were done handheld

The glow sticks are considerably dimmer than flashes and lights so they'll need to be longer exposures probably. Some of the coolest ones I've seen were done with flashes or flashlights with colored gels or cellophane on them.

Check this set out on flickr, these are the coolest light painting pictures I've seen: KL flickr meetup 20 Sept 2008 - Light Painting - a set on Flickr
