Default First post here! :)

Hi Everyone! I've been reading on the dps website for a while, but haven't yet posted anything on the forums, so this is my first! Wanted to share some shots I took that are going to be hanging up at a new local gallery - it's still small time stuff, but i'd love some critiques on what you all think! thanks!

Hi thenebean9, what can I say .. all are very nice captures. I specially like the sharpness of the first one and the perspective and softness of the third one. Great first post, congrats!

Welcome to the forums. You sure picked some amazing shots to start out with. For whatever reason, your Hot Chocolate really draws my eye. I am not sure if it is the use of DOF or just the subject matter, but I really like it. Good use of B7W as well. Thanks for sharing! I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future!

Thanks Phil! sometimes you forget that your work might be good when you look at it on a day to day basis. it's nice to finally get out and post some stuff and see what others (who are looking at it for the first time) think! i appreciate the kind words and hope to post more soon

I like all the angles chosen and the perspective your shots produce...well done
The B&W works well in all of them..in my opinion at least..

Pull up a chair. Nail some picture hangars on the wall! Get some frames, too. Wow! You should feel right at home. With first posts like these you might think you had been here a year!
