Tell me, where any bumblebees harmed in the taking of this picture??? Do I need to contact PETA? He looks a lot like he got caught in a sudden thunderstorm and if that's the worst that happened to him yesterday, that's probably not a bad day. Nice daisy shots and the reflection off the car is a good idea. Maybe a bear on that path would break your boredom....

There is a first time for almost anything!
This is the first time I see a bee right out from the shower. I would like to think that the bee was also happy to get a splash in a hot day. The pictures look funny. But, hey, they stopped moving. A focused wet bee is better than a dry blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I personally like the last picture the most. Beautiful composition, color and sharpness.

I've never seen a wet bumble bee before. Too cool. Thank you for showing me in full detail. Great photos! The last one with the reflection is my favorite. Brilliant idea to use your car as a reflective background.
Thanks for sharing these! |

Yep, if you are lucky, you might be able to freeze them right on a flower bud and get water droplets all at the same time....that's a bonus!
