Default colour vs. black and white

What do you recommend? Picture was taken in Bolivia at the boarder crossing into Chilie

I like the B/W. However, I think it needs more contrast.

I like the colour one... I'd like the B\W one more if it had higher contrast.

Hope ya don't mind... I tweaked the contrast a little. Kept the sky dark to mimic a polarizing filter. Just say the word, and I'll remove it.

I like what you did here, but I think you may have gone too light in the foreground. The original had a darker foreground, which is the way a landscape should look in terms of tonality. Maybe if you darkened the foreground a bit? I guess what I am trying to say is that the overall look is so light, with what you did, that the image looks a bit washed out. But then again, I am no professional!
