Your series of these Mountain shots are just great Fred You may have stated the location already but I missed it where is this beautiful spot what is the elevations and thanks for sharing

Great shots, that water just looks to begging for a fly and after being here those mountains sure look cold.

That lake is absolutely chock FULL of brookies, rainbows, and browns. Most of them are fairly small, but there are a few true luinkers, pushing 24" or more. EXCELLENT water to drop a dry fly...

Hey Ty. This is an area called Rock Creek in the Eastern Sierra Nevada range. I don't know what the elevation is but I'd guess it to be around 8500 feet or so. The peaks around there are in the 10000 ft plus range. Thanks for looking and happy you liked the shots.

You know it is a great place to fish. Next time I go I'll be dropping a fly in that water for sure.
