Talking Light Painting!

After a night of shooting fireworks (see my Flickr for some of the photos) my friend and I decided to experiment with light painting. For those who don't know, it involves shooting with a long shutter speed (in this case, a minute and 21 seconds at ISO 100, f/11) and "painting" your image with a flashlight or other light source. I was quite happy with how it turned out! I had trouble turning the flashlight off at times, which explains the random starbursts throughout my name, but apart from that I was very pleased with the results.

That is very cool. I like the bridge in the background as well.

Thank you all for the kind comments. I do agree that the starbursts do add to the overall picture, but I find that big one on the "A" really distracting. :P
