Default Navajo Age

While on a recent trip to build a church in Teec Nos Pos, Arizona, I was able to capture some pretty awesome things. I know it's been forever and a day since I've been on site, but I still wanted to share a few with you guys & gals.

This was during a church service and THAT, my friends, is the native Navajo language. :-)

Navajo Bible

This is the same lady as before, and even though she was incapable of much movement, she was still able to praise.

Navajo Praise

And this, well.... this I saw on the first day there and just had to shoot it. According to one of the ladies that lives there, it's been there as long as she can remember. Anyone have any idea what it is or how old it is?

Thank you so much. There were so many amazing things there - like the sky... even in person, the clouds look handpainted or photoshopped! I have so many pics, but I have to say my favorites are those of the Navajo people. So much character, so much tradition, so much life there.

Thank you - that first pic is my absolute favorite. I was sitting behind this lady to her right and was enthralled with her. When she had her Bible out, I simply couldn't let that pass by. My friend that was sitting with me told me that if she didn't get a copy of anything else, she wanted a copy of that picture.

Thank you both for your beautiful compliments!
