the only pointer I can give you - they look terrific .. you had the correct camera settings and that's more than half the battle .. there's only one thing to do now - pwactice pwactice pwactice .. great photos

FIreworks can be a great photo opp. one thing I like to see imagine the fireworks in motion. you need to invest in just a few things. 1. tripod. nothing special just something that will stand still and 2. a cable release cord. this is a def. must. you dont want to trigger the shutter by touching the camera and poss. moving it. and timer is really reliable. Fire works only light up for a sec or two. ajust your shutter to either bulb or a certian time. (ex. 1 sec.) and just keep shooting the whole show and go back later to pick the cool ones the bad thing about shooting fireworks is that normally it only happens once a year depending on where you live. Have fun.

I think that they look good. Agree that a tripod will help as will a trigger release. Good first attempt.

My fireworks were taken with a D60 18-55mm, but on tripod.
