FIreworks can be a great photo opp. one thing I like to see imagine the fireworks in motion. you need to invest in just a few things. 1. tripod. nothing special just something that will stand still and 2. a cable release cord. this is a def. must. you dont want to trigger the shutter by touching the camera and poss. moving it. and timer is really reliable. Fire works only light up for a sec or two. ajust your shutter to either bulb or a certian time. (ex. 1 sec.) and just keep shooting the whole show and go back later to pick the cool ones
the bad thing about shooting fireworks is that normally it only happens once a year depending on where you live. Have fun.
