I have no idea either!, but it's one of those pictures I find rivetting,and I'm not sure why.!

Great shot Fred as not all flowers are fresh and at their peak. I guess this a seen better days flower. Oh, I was interrupted and didn't get to comment on your last post of flowers and one with a bloom and spider. Good job, but you sure that's not a little alien sitting in there?

That's a beautiful photo you have there. It almost looks like an oil painting. I believe it may be a Dahlia.

It has a very earthy feel to it, I keep finding my self looking back at it just to have another look, not sure what this plant is either but I like this shot

I'm with you Fred, got no idea mate but you certainly did it justice. This is a stunning capture. I love how it pops from the nice dark background. Your work is always amazing buddy. Thanks for sharing this lovely fllower.
