Smile Paint portrait

Hello! I've been scouring this forum for ages trying to pick up on photography before my college class starts and, seeing as you are a very knowledgeable bunch, I would really appreciate any feedback on some of my work! Here's my latest picture, a self portrait (very difficult to take without assistance... ) :P

I don't quite know what to say about this...it's certainly interesting, but I don't know enough about critiquing to help you much. Thanks for sharing. This is certainly the place to learn

Neat concept, it's a variation of something I have seen before. I can't say that I necessarily like the black paint, though. I think sticking to the bright paints might work better. You maybe could even keep the photo itself color instead of B&W. You have pretty eyes. Keep up the good work! Look forward to seeing more.

It's a good photo. Keep thinking outside the box. Interesting concept.

I definitely agree about the black paint, but I guess that's what I get for such a spur of the moment endeavor! Thank you guys for your critique, I'm very much a work in progress.
