Default macro bee/ lightning bug

The bee stayed perfectly still so I could get a few shots.The ant however didn't care. Better large.

Copy of DSC_0099

This one was tricky. I prefer manual focus and this shot is hand held, but the lightning bug is on my hand. I think it worked out rather well. better large as well.

Your first shot is really nice. I like the composition and DoF. Your second shot is nice as well. Nice color and contrast.

First one is beautiful. I like the composition. Lovely colors on the 2nd also. Nice job with the handheld shot!

wow, I havn't seen a lightning bug since I was 7 years old... Boy that brings back some memories. Thanks for sharing!

I have never seen a lightning bug, we don't have them here. Very cool. That bee is awesome! He is a big boy for sure. Great comparison of size with the little bitty ant on there.
