Great shot, I love old bridges. Heaterguy, what are you talking about ?;-) there are tons of things to shoot in Texas (besides deer and coyotes LOL) have you tried going to any of the missions? I would think those would offfer up a world of options for great shots. I want to take a trip to Goliad and see what I can come up with there. And of course there's always the coast!

You are right Stella but I live in North Texas not San Antonio. When I lived down in Houston I had the Gulf of Mexico and a lot of photo opportunities. I guess it all boils down to what you see through the lenses.
I have been to the Missions and Goliad and there is some great opts. Up here in Dallas, I am sure there are interesting landscapes but I haven't found what I would like to shoot.

Thanks for the feedback all, much appreciated.
There is a creepy story that goes along with this bridge (check out the video under the picture) My 365 (227/365) « Joe's Photo Blog Heaterguy: I completely agree, N. TX is tough, lots of flat space an not alot to point the camera at. I came across this one by accident.. I am always looking for interesting locations so if you find anything let me know. There are some nice parks around Ray Roberts and Grapevine lakes that I have come across here and there, other than that I usually have a tough time as well finding stuff that really catches my eye. I hear Texoma can be a good place to find some interesting stuff to..

That's an interesting story Joe. Thank God we have evolved from those days.
I travel all around the metro area for landscape shots but I am starting to do more animal photography as there are plenty of rances around. Also, there might be some interesting possibilities for landscape shots on the way to White Rock Lake along the bike trail that goes there from Hillcrest and Valley View Ln.
