Hi Hayward, great set of shots. I love them both. My Grandpa always loved trains. He is gone but I still think of him every time I see a train or an Eagle. Thanks for the memories! The architecture on the second building is fantastic.

Beautiful images..

I just love the first one.. The yellow line the catches your attention squarely inspite of the huge engine in the picture..

awesome capture and even better eye for photographs..

Manual? I saw that on Flickr. I had to blink. Maybe this isn't the place to ask but why do you prefer manual? This is really encouraging me to use mine for something other than really bad macro shots. Your train shot is interesting. Since there is no blur, I assume it is not moving. The lines, however, give it a sense of movement which I think is pretty cool. Your second photo has a wonderful atmosphere.

Wow the first one definitel gives the feel of power and what a brilliant capture and the second one. I just love the title and the composition is excellent and again a beautiful capture. Like I told you Hayward, It is always a lovely surprise to open up your posts.
