Default It gets tough when you are grown up

When you are growing up, all is well and things are tight, manicured and beautiful

DSC_8137

And then you get visitors......for the bee, you first start by looking around, poking your head here and there......can't hide your deeds!

DSC_8141

For the bee, you go to town frantically devouring the surface and look at you! You are going to have to have a bath by momma bee. If you are the flower, you're feeling quite violated

DSC_8127

The bee now checks itself to see if its bounty is ready to for the long flight back to the hive.....as for the flower....well some allergy sufferers would say that it served it right. Bees are our friends....taking the pollen away from our sensitive noses to their hive to make honey for our watering mouths...sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

Amen to that. Very clear and focused shots...I don't think I've ever seen a bee that close up because I'm usually running in the other direction. Nice work.

Great set of photos Patrick, they are all so clear and I like the red flower I don't know why it just looks different to what we are used to seeing.

I guess it is because the surface is so rough on the close up?

Sounds like a good name to me...for leona it would be "the terminators"

Wow!!! that is some tight macro shots Patrick...
and the storytelling was something similar to the BEE MOVIE!! :-)

As Hayward said - The Pollinators!! However, i normally dont stand in one place long enough to admire them mostly u'll find me doubling back in the other direction to the bee!!!

Patrick, these captures are amazing. Is there no limits to that lens. That bee is so vivid and the detail is stunning in all of them. Just beautiful mate. Nature at its very best.
